Picture2Diana Llanes was born in Mexico and moved to Burien in 2005. After exploring Burien for a year, she began working at Kid’s Country in June of 2009. After teaching for a few years, Diana became the Program Supervisor. She is excited to take on the role of Director and does all she can to make Kid’s Country a warm and welcoming place. She completed her CDA in 2012 and completed her bilingual CDA in January 2016. She is currently working towards an AAS in Early Childhood Education. She’s fluent in Spanish and can’t wait to meet you.

Picture1Tamica Slater has been working in the Early Childhood Education field off and on since 2000. The love of watching children learn and grow in a safe and loving environment is what motivates her. She is currently working as a Program Supervisor at the Burien  Kid’s Country. She has completed her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She looks forward to working with your children in a curriculum that is based on their developmental and ability level.
