Our center is in a very diverse community and this is reflected in our group of teachers, whose average tenure with us is one to two years. We work together as a team to provide the best care possible for each family. It is always exiting and never dull at the Tacoma center. We have lots of family-oriented activities, such as luaus, spaghetti dinner night, and our trick-or-treating carnival on Halloween for safe trick-or-treating!

Susana Gonzalez has been working with children 20 years and has received her degree from Yakima Valley Community College. She began as a toddler teacher at a very small center in San Diego, California in 1986. In 1996, her journey led her to the Head Start program in the state of Washington. In 2000 she joined the Kid’s Country staff and feels it has been a wonderful experience for her. She believes that children need to be provided with a safe and nurturing environment to grow socially and emotionally as well as enhance their ability to obtain a great education. She’d love for you to come visit the center and learn more about us and what we can offer you and your family.
