Our center is unique because we provide consistent academic learning. Our skill building and morning groups consist of calendar, weather and events that might be happening in the world around us. Our teaching structure also provides additional learning and training for our teachers that includes monthly training, S.T.A.R.S. training, and one-on-one training with our Program Supervisor. With the development of our teachers’ curriculum, we are able to allow changes according to the needs of the children.
I am Jody Hagler, the Director of this facility. I have been in daycare for 14 years and have three children of my own. I graduated from Redmond High School and received my Early Childhood Education degree from Lake Washington Vo-Tec. I am excited to be part of the management team in Monroe and look forward to meeting and working with all of the children and families.
Welcome to Kids' Country. I'm Patty Presley the Program Supervisor. After leaving Corporate America in 1997, a brand new door opened in early childhood that I just had to go through for myself. I discovered a wonderful world of teaching children how to play and learn. I was introduced to the Child Development Home program with the United States Navy through a dear friend for which I owe her. I opened my doors from 1997 to 2003 working in home care as well as other early childhood care programs needed for military families. During this time I completed my CDE training, through the military, and sharpened my skills through lots of hard work and continuing education. In 2003 we were forced to re-locate to Philadelphia, PA where I continued working as a Lead Teacher and Asst. Director for a private preschool. After my husband retired from the military in 2007, we settled in Monroe and I kne then Kid"s Country was for me. I've been with the company since 2008 and I'm so excited to be part of 'the village that raises the child' in our community.
