Susana Gonzalez has been working with children 20 years.  She began as a toddler teacher at a very small center in San Diego, California in 1986.  In 1996, her journey led her to the Headstart program in the state of Washington.  Susana received her degree from Yakima Valley Community College.  Susana feels that joining the KiD'S COUNTRY® staff in 2000 has been a wonderful experience for her. 

She believes that children need to be provided a safe and nurturing environment to grow socially and emotionally to enhance their ability to obtain a great education.

Hello, my name is Kristen Winn.  I am very excited to be able to work with the children and families of Tacoma.  My childcare career began in 1999, as a teaching assistant, in the Cozy Kitten classroom in the Everett center.  I have also worked in the Issaquah, Normandy Park and Auburn centers. Working with children has become a personal challenge for me, as I believe children are very important to the existence of our planet.  I really believe in the teachings of KiD'S COUNTRY® and am excited to pass these beliefs on to the staff here.
